Pargine is used in the following cases:
- Maintenance therapy of hypermonia in patients with carbamylphosphate synthetase deficiency, or carbamyl transferase ornithin deficiency.
- Maintenance therapy for patients with hypermonia with blood citrulin, arginosuccinicuria.
- Supportive treatment of indigestion disorders.

Off label

– Maintenance treatment of hyperammonemia through enhancing the detoxification function of the liver and restoring it
arginine concentration in blood in patients with carbamylphosphate synthetase deficiency and ornithine deficiency

Supportive treatment in liver dysfunction and indigestion: 
- Children: 1 ampoule x 3 times for a day
- Adults: 1 -2 ampoules x 3 times for a day
Increased blood ammonia (due to congenital urea cycle disorder): advised dosage:250-500 mg/kg per day.
- Infants: 1-5 ampoules for a day, dilute with water or milk
- Children: 5-10 ampoules for a day
