Progesteron 200mg/suppository
Suppository
1) Treatment of premenstrual syndrome, including premenstrual tension and depression.
2) Treatment of puerperal depression.
3) Luteal phase support as part of an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatment for women.)
4) Prevention of preterm birth in singleton pregnancies at risk due to; Shortened cervix (midtrimester sonographic cervix ≤25mm). and/or Where there is a history of spontaneous preterm birth.
5) Threatened miscarriage and recurrent miscarriage.
Premenstrual syndrome:
Use 200 mg once daily (1 Cyclogest 200 mg suppository once daily) to 400 mg twice daily (1 Cyclogest 400 mg suppository twice daily), administered vaginally or rectally.
Begin treatment on day 14 of the menstrual cycle and continue until menstruation starts. If symptoms occur during ovulation, treatment may begin on day 12.
Postnatal depression:
Use 200 mg once daily (1 Cyclogest 200 mg suppository once daily) to 400 mg twice daily (1 Cyclogest 400 mg suppository twice daily), administered vaginally or rectally.
Luteal support in infertility and in vitro fertilization (IVF):
The recommended dose is 400 mg once daily (1 Cyclogest 400 mg suppository once daily) or twice daily (1 Cyclogest 400 mg suppository twice daily), administered vaginally or rectally.
Threatened miscarriage:
The recommended dose is 400 mg twice daily (1 Cyclogest 400 mg suppository twice daily) for 14 days, followed by 200 mg twice daily (1 Cyclogest 200 mg suppository twice daily) continuously until the 12th week of pregnancy, administered vaginally or rectally.
Recurrent miscarriage:
Use 400 mg once daily (1 Cyclogest 400 mg suppository once daily) until the 10th week of pregnancy, administered vaginally or rectally.
